Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. Sometimes I do not mind waiting longer if the price is fair and the quality is solid. I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. If buyers say the item runs small or large, I always adjust my choice accordingly. Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes.

I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos. I also like when stores show real photos without heavy editing or strange angles. I have learned to avoid items that look extremely different in every product photo. Now I am more careful with impulse buys and limited time offers. Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones. When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. When a store shows clear shoulder width, bust, waist and length, it is much easier to choose.
